Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality rough and finish carpentry on commercial construction projects, including framing, blocking, installation of doors, hardware, trim, and specialty components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate layout and precise construction.
- Work closely with the project superintendent and foreman to meet project schedules and quality standards.
- Assist with layout, measurements, and coordination of materials and equipment needed for each phase of work.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and other trades to maintain productivity and workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, safeguarding materials and tools.
- Report progress, issues, or potential delays promptly to supervisors.
- Uphold company values of professionalism, craftsmanship, and integrity on every project.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial carpentry or related construction field.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Proven commitment to job site safety and quality workmanship.
- Skilled with hand and power tools; ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a crew.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
