The Sporting Clay Shoot, sponsored by Kruse LUMBER, is back!
Join us in the fall for a fun afternoon of testing your marksmanship and enjoying some friendly competition with other RAB members and guests.  Groups of 4, 5, or 6 shooters are welcome!
 
Event details:

  • Safety is our number one concern and guides how the event is run.
  • Shells are provided.
  • Attendees must adhere to gun safety rules at all times.
  • Raffle tickets are available for $20/ticket.

Schedule: 

1:00-1:30 PM    Registration & mandatory safety talk
1:30-2:00 PM    ​Shooters released to opening stations
2:00 PM            Shooting starts 
5:00 PM            Shooting complete; keg is tapped
5:15 PM             Dinner
6:00 PM            Raffle drawing

Directions: From Hwy 52, going north, take the 75th Street NW exit.  Turn left at 75th St NW and follow it for approximately 2.5 miles (through Douglas).  Turn right at 75th Avenue NW and the property is located on the left side of the road.

Fees/Admission

Registration Includes:

  • 20 Stations with 100 clay targets & 100 Shells
  • Dinner & beverages
  • Various optional games throughout course
  • Prizes for best team and best individual
Event fees:
  • Team of 4 shooters: $840
  • Team of 5 shooters: $1,050
  • Team of 6 shooters: $1,260
  • Dinner only: $40 per person
Event rules:
The RAB Clay Shoot committee has full and complete discretion to remove from the course, without refund, any individual deemed a danger to themselves or others. The following rules have been established to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all participants:
 
  • Must be 21 years old to participate
  • NO ALCOHOL is allowed to be consumed prior to or on the sporting clay course.
  • No outside containers are allowed on the course and, if any are found, they will be confiscated until the conclusion of the event. No exceptions.
  • All entrants must be in place to hear the mandatory safety talk before going on to the course.
  • Each shooter must have their own gun. No sharing is allowed and rentals are not available.
  • Guns must remain cased until after the safety talk.
  • Loaded guns are allowed only within the target stations.
  • Provided shells may not work well with semi-automatics.
